Making it easy – business stationery packs

You know how it is!  We’re all too busy.  We all have too much to do.  We all have deadlines to meet, many (most?) of them unreasonable.  Stephen Covey’s (in)famous ‘Important/Urgent’ 2×2 matrix springs to mind (and if you haven’t read it, check out The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People).

Where’s all this going?  Simply that anything we can do to give us more time back to concentrate on the important things before they become urgent, and to make our lives easier, simply has to be a good thing …

… and this is where the concept of business stationery packs comes in.  It’s wonderfully simple!  Instead of having to remember to order your items separately, or discovering that they’ve run out (probably at the worst possible time), why not order a pre-defined set of commonly used stationery all at the same time?  The artwork and design can be stored on-line, to ensure brand consistency, and to make repeat orders that much easier.

The whole process is therefore incredibly straightforward … and you should never run out of your most important stationery items again!

What should the packs contain?

A typical office or business will use all sorts of different types of stationery throughout the year – posters, flyers, leaflets, booklets, envelopes, you name it – but three are in very common use: business cards, compliment slips, and letterheads.

A pre-defined pack that contains all three will therefore be ideal.

What are the options?

The two key variables are, unsurprisingly, quantity and quality.

First ask yourself how many of each of the items you want (ranging from 250 to 1,000).  Then think about the quality of the paper for each item (300 or 400gsm for business cards, 100 or 120gsm for compliment slips and letterheads).  Next consider whether, for example, you want the business cards single or double-sided, and/or laminated, and you’re almost there.

Upload the artwork (as a press ready PDF with crops and bleeds where applicable), or ask us to carry out the design work for you, and you’re done.
